Students have an initial meeting with the non-profit staff to determine the organization's needs. Then students work throughout the semester independently and in groups to create visual media that will further the agency's goals.  Students will develop a package of products that may include a public service announcement or promotional video, posters, flyers, photo essays, a social media campaign, etc.

This semester students will be working with the Earth Conservation Corps.  Past partners have included:

  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Association (SCAA)
  • Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment of Eating Disorders (F.E.A.S.T.)
  • Young Mothers Against Tobacco (YMAT)
  • Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place
  • Seeking Equality, Empowerment, and Community for People with Developmental Disabilities (SEEC)
